Step 1: Before Planting

Strawberry seeds must be started indoors in to ensure they are ready to go when it comes to their normal growing season. To ensure strawberry seeds will grow when you plant them, you must first stratify them. To do this, place the strawberry seeds in an envelope or sealed plastic bag and store them in the refrigerator for a month.

Step 2: Sowing seeds

🔸 Soak seeds in warm water (30-40°C) for about 3-5 hours before sowing
🔸 Sow seeds on soil, cover with a thin layer of soil, water.
🔸 Place the pot in a place with light, seeds germinate after 7-15 days.

Step 3: STRAWBERRY CARE

🌞 Light:
✔️ Strawberries need 6-8 hours of sunlight per day to grow well
✔️ If grown indoors, place the plant in a place with light or use LED lights to support

💧 Watering:
✔️ Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.
✔️ Water 1-2 times/day, early morning or cool afternoon.

🍃 Fertilizing:
✔️ Apply organic fertilizer or diluted NPK every 2 weeks.
✔️ When the plant starts to flower, add potassium fertilizer to make the fruit sweeter.

✂️ Pruning:
✔️ Cut off old leaves and weak branches so that the plant can focus on nutrition to nourish the fruit.
✔️ If the plant has many branches, they can be separated and planted separately.

🐞 Pest control:
✔️ Avoid keeping the soil too moist, which can easily cause mold and aphids.
✔️ Check the plant regularly, you can use garlic or ginger water to spray to prevent natural pests.

Step 4: Harvesting

When they are ready to harvest, cut the berry off at the stem. Do not pull the berry from the stem to harvest it. Unwashed strawberries can be stored in the refrigerator for three to five days.
